What it actually means

The manufacturer party is missing its tax ID. CBP needs either a US EIN, a manufacturer ID (MID), or a foreign tax ID like DUNS to clear the filing.

  1. Open INV-4421 → Parties → Manufacturer
  2. Add the tax ID (DUNS, MID, or foreign ID accepted)
  3. Re-submit. The bond and other parties carry over.

Follow the shipment from ISF to manifest.
